Freshmen year of high school Amanda and I were in the same typing class, and we would always get in trouble for talking. It got so bad that the teacher had to separate us. She moved Amanda to a computer by her desk. But that still didn't stop us from talking. One day, she was miming what she had seen in a tv show the night previous and was leaning to one side. Well she leaned too far and ended up fallling out of her chair. The funniest part is that our teacher was talking to some archdiocese people out in the hall, a clear view of what Amanda did. All the teacher did was shake her head at the weird freshmen laying on the floor.

Back in high school, we were together in Concert Band in the mornings. I remember she would take a nap on the bench beside me at the piano while I would play both of our parts in the song. The one piece I remember most was "Linus and Lucy". I took the faster bass while she had the lighter melody, so she could jump right in and play whenever she wanted to.
